STRM Recruiting is partnering with a growing commercial construction company.
Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing commercial construction team. This role focuses on a variety of specialties, including metal and wood framing, drywall, finishes, acoustical elements, and doors and hardware. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring all quality standards are met while staying on schedule and within budget. This position requires a leader with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities Project Setup- Review bid documents, contracts, and specific project requirements.
- Develop project budgets, safety plans, and timelines/schedules.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and coordinate subcontractor agreements.
- Direct day-to-day project activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Resolve project challenges and implement changes as needed.
- Monitor progress and provide accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Complete project documentation and warranty requirements.
- Submit retention billing and finalize financials.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the construction industry or a related field. - Technical
Skills:
Deep understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices. - Leadership:
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills. - Tools:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction project management software. - Abilities:
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is strongly preferred for Project Management roles in the construction industry.
- Degrees in business, project management, or other technical disciplines may also be considered.
- While extensive experience can sometimes substitute for formal education, candidates are generally expected to possess a relevant degree or certification to ensure they have foundational knowledge in project management and construction practices.

We prioritize customer service, teamwork, and proactive planning. Our Project Managers represent the company on-site and work closely with Superintendents to ensure successful project delivery.

- Annual salary: $100,000–$160,000, based on experience and qualifications
