Adjunct Instructor - Applied Psychology

Position Overview

Oregon Tech is accepting applications for a Psychology Undergraduate Adjunct Instructor pool in the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. The pool is for reappointable, part‑time teaching positions in the Applied Psychology program for a duration of up to two years. The position type is Adjunct Faculty and the appointment is part‑time (FTE as needed).

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Applied Psychology program, which may include online, in‑person, hybrid, or clinic‑based modalities.
• Prepare instructional materials, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and assess student learning in alignment with departmental curricula.
• Utilize learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams) to support course delivery.
• Maintain professional engagement with students and coordinate with department faculty on program objectives.

Primary campus locations include Klamath Falls, OR, Wilsonville, OR, and courses may also be conducted online or via other remote formats responsive to state and local requirements.

• Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology or an equivalent field.
• Experience teaching undergraduate courses.

• Experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system.
• Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams).
