Piano and Voice Teacher - Arts Academy; W2 Wilsonville Studio

Job Duties

• Instructing students for 30 minute lessons
• Assessing new student abilities
• Creating lesson plans
• Preparing students for recitals
• Facilitating student participation in recitals
• Assisting students in reaching their learning goals
• Communicating with parents or guardians on student progress

• Strong interpersonal skills – able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is a plus but not required
• Must demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill during an interview
• Open to first‑time teachers and experienced teachers alike
• Commit to a minimum of one year with the organization
• Ability to teach multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.) is welcome
• Submit a music‑specific résumé

$25.00 per hour

Arts Academy is a music studio offering lessons on piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, and more. With locations in Tigard, Happy Valley, and Wilsonville, we provide a creative and versatile learning environment.

Our studios feature unique themes honoring legendary music icons and are equipped with new, high‑quality instruments and technology.

We offer ample performance opportunities, including open‑mic nights, community events, workshops, and two formal recitals per year.
