Principal Project Chief Engineer - Vison Systems Helmet and Headworn Display; Hybrid

The Vison Systems Helmet and Headworn Display team is developing innovative helmet‑mounted and head‑worn display technology to support customers worldwide. This hybrid role requires a primary technical interface to the customer and business leadership, leading a multi‑disciplinary engineering development team.

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering managers and leads to develop the program execution plan—including schedule, budget and staffing—for complex projects.
• Own engineering execution to meet budget, schedule and scope requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer and senior leadership.
• Define product requirements, scope, system architecture and design, and perform integration and verification across multiple systems.
• Bid, plan and manage project budgets, schedules and scopes.
• Collaborate across the integrated project team (engineering, program management, operations, finance, contracts, business development) to achieve program objectives.
• Manage the engineering bid and planning process, develop strategic roadmaps and drive predictable program performance.
• Demonstrate high motivation, commitment to meeting commitments and flexibility to support a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of eight years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of five years.
• Experience creating collaborative team cultures that drive predictable program performance and consistently meet business and customer commitments.
• Strong communication skills to a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, program management and senior leadership.

• Experience in commercial or military avionics display systems.
• Experience developing schedules using MS Project or a similar tool.
