Manufacturing Electrical Engineer
Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer with knowledge of manufacturing test procedures and troubleshooting complex digital and analog circuitry as part of an integrated product team supporting test solutions for new and existing vision systems and sensors supporting both commercial and military applications.
What You Will Do:
- Troubleshoot flow inhibitors to differentiate between product failures and test failures
- Troubleshoot circuit board assemblies and PIXe chassis
- Provide Test technician support for production test related issues
- Repair and maintain complex electrical and optical robotic test equipment
- Support ESS functions for the product line
- Under guidance from senior engineers:
- Make adjustments to test equipment to optimize performance
- Conduct investigations into optimization opportunities
- Support lean electronics improvement activities
- Perform test document updates
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
- Demonstrated familiarity with aerospace industry principles and practices, including prior exposure to aerospace systems and applications.
- Gained experience in optical display systems, showcasing an understanding of their functionality and integration in relevant technologies.
- Experience with gage studies, Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies, and the theoretical influence of software on automated test equipment.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.
-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
