Position SummaryThe Director of Financial Planning & Analysis partners closely with the CFO to lead the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions, with a focus on grants, contracts, and restricted funding. This role is responsible for providing data-driven insights, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting effective decision-making across the organization. The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis leads the design and continuous improvement of financial processes and systems, driving user-centered solutions that enhance operational efficiency and strengthen fiscal oversight.
This role does not oversee transactional accounting, payroll, or procurement functions.
- Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in accounting, finance, grant management, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a management role.
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CGMS preferred – Certified Grants Management Specialist
- CPA preferred – Certified Public Accountant
