As Branch Manager III, you will be responsible for driving the member experience within the branch. This includes partnering with in-branch Mortgage, Commercial and Wealth Management teammates to serve the credit union members with enhanced capabilities, setting the tone and pace of the branch environment to ensure goals are being met, and cultivating a positive and welcoming environment based on trust, collaboration and teamwork.

Acting as the face of the Credit Union, the Branch Manager III also plays a critical role in engaging with the local community to build strategic partnerships and business connections to support deposit and loan growth, expand our community presence and support the Credit Union's strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader with a strong background in financial services and lending, proven experience managing teams, and a passion for delivering outstanding member service.

What

You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Financial Services Expertise:
    Prior experience leading branch operations required, including branch balancing, cash audits, scheduling and implementing security controls to ensure operational soundness of the branch. Advanced knowledge of credit union eligibility, loan and share products, and cross-functional department services including Business, Commercial, Wealth Management and Mortgage. Ability to handle complex financial transactions and serve as a resource for more complex underwriting situations.
  • Business Development:
    Proven experience in identifying community engagement opportunities and cultivating tactical partnerships with local business leaders to support deposit and loan growth and promote the Credit Union’s brand. Strong ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts and market trends to develop solutions and supportive initiatives based on findings.
  • Talent Development:
    Five years of management experience required. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise managing a team including hiring, setting performance expectations, managing employment issues and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities. Showcases strong interpersonal, leadership and strategic planning skills with a high degree of complex problem solving and conflict resolution.

    Education:

    At least eight years of relevant experience in the financial services industry and three years of lending experience required. Commercial and Mortgage experience is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in the financial industry with a High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Work type:
Full-Time, On-Site and Exempt

Compensation: $132,900k/year DOE + bonus
