Job Description:
Job OverviewThe Material Handler I is responsible for examining, storing, and distributing materials, supporting daily production needs, and performing administrative and shipping-related tasks. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely material movement, and compliance with internal procedures.
Job Requirements- Examine incoming and outgoing materials and verify documentation.
- Transport raw materials, components, packaging, finished goods, and scrap to and from the production floor.
- Assess material needs at the beginning of each shift and order materials to support the production schedule.
- Locate, pull, and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Perform SAP transactions to issue materials, process stock transfers, and complete material requests.
- Prepare goods for final shipment, including scanning, labeling, wrapping, and staging.
- Complete required paperwork, forms, and assist with preparing bills of lading for outgoing materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory by identifying, labeling, organizing materials, and reporting shortages.
- Perform cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and other lifting devices.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Entry-level role; little to no related experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Basic computer skills; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $33,600– $50,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
