Machinist and Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Machinist and Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in setting up and operating CNC mills, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

• Set up custom parts, fixtures, or tools for job-specific applications.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.

• Journeyman mill machinist experience.
• Proficiency in blueprint/schematic reading.
• Experience with CNC programming and machining.
• Expertise in set-up operations for CNC mills.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in setting up CNC mills.

• Mastery of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work‑piece, sequence of operations.
• Familiarity with Fusion 360 software or comparable program.
• Experience with lathe operations is also considered valuable.

Work in an industrial machine shop with unregulated temperatures. Our day shift runs from 7am to 3:45pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 – $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Wilsonville, OR.
