Physical Inspection Technician - Swing Shift in Wilsonville

SUMMARY

The Physical Inspections Technician position is part of the Quality team. The technician requires basic understanding of print reading, GD&T, and metrology tools. Responsibilities include running CMM programs, inspecting parts with manual inspection tools, and adhering to work instructions. CNC machining experience is not required but helpful.

• The Physical Inspection Technician reports directly to the Area Supervisor.
• Run CMM machines and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitor processes and outputs to ensure part quality.
• Complete work orders, inspection documentation, and daily preventive maintenance sheets.
• Promote health and safety of self and co‑workers.
• Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Experience in manufacturing (manufacturing experience is preferred).
• Strong work ethic.
• Understanding of inspection/metrology.

• Operating machinery from a standing position.
• Constantly positioning self to operate machinery in a variety of configurations.
• Constantly visually inspecting parts.
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.
