As the Director of Community Relations
, you will be the first connection for older adults and their support networks who are exploring independent and assisted living options. You’ll guide prospective residents through the decision‑making process with empathy and confidence—offering tours, following up on inquiries, supporting move‑ins, and representing the community at events and outreach activities.
This role blends relationship‑based sales, community outreach, and strategic planning, and is ideal for someone who enjoys building trust, telling a compelling story, and making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales and outreach strategies to achieve occupancy goals
- Serve as a knowledgeable, compassionate resource for prospective residents and referral partners
- Provide personalized tours and maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects
- Track and manage inquiry and prospect data to inform strategy and performance
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity
- Partner closely with The Springs Living marketing team on local initiatives
- Represent the community at events and cultivate strong relationships with local partners
- Foster a positive, goal‑oriented culture within the community
- Sales and management experience in senior living or a related relationship‑based sales field is preferred
- Basic understanding of healthcare or senior services preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Strategic, creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving

- Experience developing and executing sales plans
- Ability to clearly communicate the unique value of the community
