Sales Representative, Sales Associate/Assistant, Account Manager
Summary
Direct Sales Representatives support the sales team by providing a high level of customer service to accounts and delivering sales calls.
Primary Responsibilities- Pre-plan sales calls and objectives
- Call on accounts according to established frequency and provide exceptional customer service and follow through while developing rapport with assigned accounts
- Recommend and execute special promotions as needed and/or directed
- Submit all required paperwork such as preplans, ad trackers, surveys, expense reports, and mileage reports by their respective due date
- Attend general sales meetings, supplier meetings and department meetings as directed by Manager
- General knowledge of industry products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers

Work EnvironmentWork indoors in a sedentary office setting; occasional visit to customer accounts.
Physical Demands- Lift/Carry & Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
- Bend/Stoop/Crouch/Squat
- Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp throughout entire shift
- Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle
This is a full-time position, days/hours of work may vary.

RequiredEducation and Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-year previous sales experience
- Six months previous merchandising experience
- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
