Facility Maintenance Technician (Entry Level)
Wilsonville, OR (Onsite)
Duration: 14 Months
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Overtime may be required on a limited basis
Seeking an entry-level Facility Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance and repair operations within a warehouse/distribution environment. This role assists senior technicians with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, minor repairs, and facility upkeep while following all safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities- Assist with general facility maintenance and repairs
- Support inspections and minor repairs of:
- Automatic Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
- Dock equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic levelers, dock doors, restraints)
- Concrete flooring, paving, and industrial wear‑slabs
- Product racking systems
- Perform minor electrical repairs, welding tasks, and light plumbing
- Change lighting and complete building/grounds projects
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules (roof inspections, minor repairs, etc.)
- Log time and materials daily in CMMS system
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Follow OSHA and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
- 0–3 years of maintenance experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- Basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
- Valid Driver’s License with proof of liability coverage
- Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Facility maintenance technical school training
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems (high and low voltage)
- Exposure to refrigeration systems
- Scissor Lift
- Pallet Jacks
- Electric Warehouse Service Truck
- CMMS system
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise levels
- May include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments
