You’re called to commission a new multi‑axis VMC in Eugene. After a seamless install, you train the team on best practices. Next up: a diagnostics visit in Tacoma where your PLC expertise pinpoints an intermittent fault. By day’s end, two customers are running stronger—and you’ve turned them into raving fans. That’s the impact of a CNC Mechatronics Field Service Technologist at Ellison Technologies.

• Lead field service across the local market: installations, service interventions, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with confidence.
• Collaborate with customers—resolve issues, support sales, and deliver targeted training.
• Champion professionalism and ethics in every interaction; communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain complete customer records and technical documentation; own your cases and projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Equipment: CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC), CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC), CNC Lathe (2–4 axis), CNC Lathe (5+ axis), CNC Swiss Lathe.
• Core skills: PLC Troubleshooting; CNC Machine Repair;
  Electrical & Pneumatics Troubleshooting;
  Industrial Electrical;
  Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting.

• Background installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Depth across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems—and the curiosity to keep learning.
