They are looking to grow their physical verification R&D team with a Senior Software Engineer who will own critical components of their chip verification and physical sign-off tooling, with their work directly shaping the performance, accuracy, and scalability of software used in production semiconductor design flows globally.

• Designing and implementing features for physical sign-off and chip verification tools with a focus on accuracy, performance, and usability.
• Optimising code for parallel execution on HPC platforms, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Implementing multi-threaded algorithms to improve processing speed and resource utilisation.
• Conducting performance analysis and debugging to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for new features.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Contributing to the long-term architecture and quality of a production-grade EDA software platform.

• Strong experience in software development with a strong C++ background.
• Extensive experience in EDA, particularly in physical verification.
• Deep understanding of physical sign-off principles and methodologies.
• Background in HPC programming and multi-threaded parallel computing.
• Knowledge of graph algorithms and their applications in EDA.
• Proficiency in Linux based development environments.
