Senior Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and support high-capacity, high-performance software for IC verification (Calibre).
• Work on challenges including computational geometry, high-performance data structures, multi-threading, and multi-platform support.
• Collaborate with product management, quality assurance, technical publications, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
• Participate in scheduling and estimation of tasks, and assist in defining and developing software development best practices.
• Contribute as part of a team of senior software engineers and architects, developing new components and algorithms and supporting existing components.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, technical ownership, and a results-driven, team-oriented attitude.

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong analysis, design, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of high-performance data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• 10-15 years of experience in software development in C and C++ on Linux
• Experience enhancing mission-critical, complex high-performance code bases
• Knowledge in the following areas is desired: VLSI design principles, techniques for processing high-volume data, graph theory and algorithms, computational geometry, multi-threaded and distributed computing
• Firm belief in developing high-quality, testable, and maintainable software
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.
