Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules, and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
They also route merchandise to destinations.
- Packaging delicate wire for shipping domestically and internationally.
- Complete required paperwork to accompany outgoing orders.
- General housekeeping of the work area.
- Ensure that correct transactions are completed in ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Handle and transport fragile items from shelf to shelf and ensure every item is placed in the assigned location.
- Receive incoming material in store locations and SAP / EPICOR (ERP) warehouse management system.
- Pull finished goods items for shipping, provide backup support for each other and for assigned areas.
- Investigate variances and report material discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge in using carrier software (Fed Ex Ship Manager, UPS World Ship, DHL, etc.).
- Strong math skills.
- Forklift / Warehouse Machinery Experience (Stand up Forklift, Order Pickers, Electric Jacks).
- Experience using SAP Applus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.
- Schedule flexibility.
- Prior experience in a packaging environment preferred.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
- Stationary, workstation-based packaging role performed throughout the full workday.
- Frequent standing for extended periods; regular walking within the facility.
- Repeated motions involving hands, wrists, and shoulders.
- Ability to bend, reach, and stoop as needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to move freely and safely throughout the production facility.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $43,200–$64,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
