Automotive Service Advisor (3+ Years of Service Writing Experience)
Looking for a shop that actually values your talent, your ideas, and your coffee intake? An established independent automotive repair facility in Wilton is searching for a people-focused, detail-oriented, process-driven Service Advisor to join their well-oiled team.
This is a fast-paced, high-performance shop that combines modern technology, proven processes, and a loyal Fairfield County customer base to create an environment where customers feel heard—and employees feel at home.
The Basics- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Every Third Saturday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Light-duty schedule
- Lube and emissions technicians onsite
- Base Salary: $1,100–$1,200 per week
- Compensation: Weekly commission on labor hours sold (minimum 51% parts margin)
- Annual Earning Potential: $75,000–$110,000+
- Shop services range from routine maintenance and oil changes to alignments, tires, and comprehensive vehicle repairs
- You won't just be handed a phone and told to answer calls. You'll be trained on a proven, customer-focused process designed to help you succeed.

- 3+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience
- Strong service writing skills in an aftermarket automotive repair environment
- Comfortable selling and recommending all types of maintenance and repair services based on customer needs and vehicle condition
- Ability to build value and confidently present estimates, maintenance recommendations, and repair options
- Comfortable writing service, creating estimates, and managing repair orders from start to finish
- Experience looking up, sourcing, and ordering your own parts
- Strong understanding of aftermarket parts and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
- Solid computer and tablet proficiency
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity, humility, and a genuine desire to help customers and teammates succeed
- Tire sales and previous service lane experience are a plus
