Pet Vet Care Centers' South Wilton Veterinary Group is currently seeking Full-Time Veterinary Receptionists (Care Coordinators) to join their team.
Position OverviewJoin our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. The role includes a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital and aligning closely with positions such as Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, and Client Care Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Provides excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
- Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
- Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
- Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
- Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
- Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
- Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
- Customer service experience required.
- Preferably with veterinary experience, but not necessary.
- Hospital open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Work either four 10‑hour shifts per week or five 8‑hour shifts with at least one Saturday per month.
