Senior Facilities Mechanical Engineer; Semiconductor | Site Lead | PE

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Facilities Mechanical Engineer / Site Lead to support mission-critical semiconductor manufacturing facility in Wilton, CT. This role leads sustaining operations and capital improvement projects for complex mechanical and process utility systems in a high-tech, regulated environment.

• M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours/week

• The Site Lead will manage a multi-disciplinary team (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Reliability, Design) and act as the owner’s representative for capital projects—overseeing design, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and turnover.
• You’ll partner closely with site operations, maintenance, vendors, and contractors while mentoring internal engineering staff and supporting Certified Reliability Engineering (CRE) initiatives.
• Systems include HVAC, hydronics, process cooling water, wastewater, exhaust (acid/ammonia), fire protection, plumbing, process piping, chemical/gas distribution, and pure water

• BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (ABET)
• Licensed PE (CT or ability to obtain quickly)
• 15+ years facilities/process mechanical engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of ASME, B31.3, SEMI, NFPA, IBC/IMC, ASHRAE
• Capital project delivery, vendor submittals, field construction support
• Experience with P&IDs, PFDs, BIM (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)
