Introduction to the Job

At ASML, your work helps enable the technology behind the world's most advanced microchips. As a Production Engineer
- First Line Support, you will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by solving technical issues, supporting product quality, and driving continuous improvement. This position is based in Wilton, Connecticut, and follows a CWW D2 shift schedule Thursday, Friday, Saturday with every other Wednesday (6:00 AM-6:00 PM).

As a Production Engineer
- First Line Support, you will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to maintain production flow and support the delivery of complex lithography systems used by leading semiconductor manufacturers worldwide.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot production issues in real time to reduce downtime and maintain output.
  • Document technical issues, investigations, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
  • Escalate complex issues when additional technical expertise is required.
  • Support process control activities through statistical process monitoring and analysis.
  • Investigate recurring production challenges and contribute to long-term solutions.
  • Participate in material and production review activities to improve product flow and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, documentation, and team collaboration.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in a production engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • OR a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field with internship experience in a production environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience working with statistical process control methodologies and manufacturing data is preferred.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, test plans, or process instructions is beneficial.
