The Client Services Associate (Relationship Manager) plays a critical role in supporting the advisor and their clients. This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in the financial services industry. The role involves working closely with Financial Advisors to support comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth clients. This role will also provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience in operational back-office procedures, fostering a well-rounded understanding of the wealth management process.
Location: Wilton, CT or White Plains, NY
Role and Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Support- Help welcome new clients by assisting with the onboarding process, including collecting and reviewing required documents
- Communicate with clients to clarify any missing information and guide them through next steps
- Ensure client information is accurately recorded and accounts are set up properly
- Learn how to process account transfers from start to finish
- Track transfer progress and help resolve any issues with custodians or clearing firms
- Maintain accurate records for compliance and internal reporting
- Support basic account maintenance tasks like updating contact details or closing accounts
- Work with compliance and operations teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and meets industry regulations
- Assist with preparing documentation for internal reviews
- Calendar management for Advisors
- Respond to client questions with professionalism and care
- Collaborate with team members to address client needs and resolve issues quickly
- Contribute to a positive client experience by being responsive, accurate, and helpful
- Stay informed about industry changes and best practices
- Participate in training opportunities and learn new tools and systems
- Bring ideas to improve efficiency and streamline processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically advisory preferred.
- Strong interest in financial planning and investment management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with E-Money, Orion, Schwab and Salesforce a plus
