Registered Dietitian - NHMP Metabolic/Bariatric - Wilton, CT

Seeking an RD with Bariatric/Metabolic experience. Provides instruction, nutritional/dietary support, counseling, guidance and education to all patients entering the program. Serves as a resource to all patients and team-members.
Responsibilities include performing nutrition evaluations, assessing patients' nutritional status, providing nutrition education, leading dietary management, and creating educational materials.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent experience. Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registration eligible. Must pass registration exam within 6 months of hire.
Minimum experience:
Zero to six months.

Requirements: MS Office suite:
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
License, Registration, or Certification Requirements:
State of Connecticut Certification as a Dietitian/Nutritionist. For new grads, to be obtained as soon as RD exam has been passed.
Preferred experience - 2 years or more in the field of Dietetics and Nutrition as well as a master's degree in food and nutrition, Dietetics, or related field. Salary Range: $29.65 - $55.55 Hourly (Hours per years of relative experience)
