About the RoleThe Digital & IT Support Intern will support the desktop and laptop refresh initiative to build and/or upgrade 200+ machines across 25+ locations in the USA. This role will support an enterprise‑wide device refresh and upgrade initiative.
This role will focus on hardware replacement, Windows 11 upgrades, troubleshooting, and end‑user support. Candidates must have some prior Windows upgrade experience and be comfortable working independently after initial training.
This is a hands‑on technical role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with onsite teams to minimize business disruption.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical replacement of incompatible desktops and laptops as part of a structured refresh project
- Troubleshoot upgrade failures and perform remediation to ensure successful deployment
- Transfer user data and validate application functionality post‑upgrade
- Coordinate with site teams and end users to minimize downtime and operational disruption
- Document device status, deployment progress, and update asset management systems accurately
- Lift and transport equipment (up to 30 lbs as needed) during device replacement activities
- Diagnose and resolve with current Digital & IT Staff any Windows 11 configuration, driver, and compatibility issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intunes Admin center is a plus
Exposure to how luxury brands applications and technology infrastructure. Direct Windows 11 upgrade experience who can handle both technical deployment and end‑user support in a fast‑paced, project‑based environment.
Required Profile / Qualifications- Prior hands‑on experience performing Windows upgrades and device refresh projects
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to OS upgrades, drivers, user profiles, and application compatibility
- Experience replacing desktops and laptops in enterprise environments
- Ability to work independently after initial direction and training
- Professional, mature demeanor with strong communication skills
- Experience updating asset management or ticketing systems
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
- Full‑time (40 hours per week), temporary
- 5 days onsite at our Wilton HQ
- Work hours:
8:30 - 5:30pm (30-60 min unpaid lunch)
