Introduction to the Job
As a Manufacturing Group Lead at ASML in Wilton, you help deliver the advanced technology that powers the world’s most innovative chips. You guide production teams in a cleanroom environment and ensure smooth, high‑quality output that supports our mission to push the limits of semiconductor manufacturing. Your work enables our systems to perform at the highest level, and you play a key role in helping customers move technology forward.
Roleand Responsibilities
In this role as a Manufacturing Group Lead, you support daily cleanroom production, lead operators and technicians, and ensure safe, consistent, and efficient output. You help introduce new products, improve processes, and maintain a culture of quality and collaboration across the factory. You will be leading and guiding team members across multiple work centers and areas in the factory. This role will be responsible for managing staff across first shift and compressed work week schedules.
Key responsibilities include:- Lead daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
- Plan staffing, assign tasks, and guide team performance.
- Solve production issues and provide clear communication on progress and risks.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to support new product introduction.
- Maintain accurate training, documentation, and process compliance.
- Promote continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Support a positive work environment built on teamwork, coaching, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in business, engineering, or manufacturing operations preferred; high school diploma required.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical production or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum two years of direct leadership experience supporting teams.
- Experience with quality assurance, production management, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods such as 5S and Kaizen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with full PPE.
- Willingness to support first shift, compressed work week schedules, and periodic weekend coverage.
- Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally at all levels.
- Lead teams with a collaborative and people‑centered approach.
- Analyze data and use facts to make decisions.
- Prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced production setting.
- Solve problems with a proactive and structured approach.

- The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment at points throughout the day which requires: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses. Working under ISO 9000/14000 standards).
- Working around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around chemicals.
- The employee is occasionally required to move around the campus.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- May require travel dependent on company needs.
- The environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
