Shift: 1st Shift – Mon to Fri – 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (2/2/3)

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support electrical systems across a commercial and industrial facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on, safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys troubleshooting complex electrical systems. The Maintenance Electrician will maintain, repair, and optimize electrical distribution systems up to 600 volts while also supporting broader facility maintenance as a multi-craft technician.
This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced electrical systems, including variable frequency drives (VFDs), control circuitry, transformers, and motor controls, while contributing to a safe, reliable, and high-performing operation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair primary and secondary electrical distribution systems up to 600 volts
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain control circuits, VFDs, motor controls, and special electrical systems
- Install and modify outlets, lighting fixtures, power panels, and raceways (including underground applications)
- Service and maintain batteries, transformers, and related electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and complete all required documentation and reports
- Recommend equipment upgrades, repairs, or improvements to enhance system performance and reliability
- Respond to electrical and facility emergencies, including after-hours situations as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety policies
- Support facility operations as a multi-craft technician, assisting with HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance when assigned
- High School Diploma, trade school certification, or equivalent professional experience in electrical trades
- Journeyman Electrician license or successful completion of a four-year apprenticeship program
- 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proven ability to read and work from plans, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with AC motor controls, VFD installation and troubleshooting
- Experience estimating electrical labor, materials, and equipment for projects
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
