Electrician
The maintenance electrician will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of all primary and secondary electrical distribution systems up to 600 volts. This position involves troubleshooting and maintaining control circuitry, variable frequency drives, and special electrical systems. The electrician will also perform tasks such as installing and relocating outlets and fixtures, troubleshooting lighting and power panels, and performing general building maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all primary and secondary electrical distribution systems up to 600 volts.
- Troubleshoot and maintain control circuitry, variable frequency drives, and all other special electrical systems.
- Install outlets in existing and underground raceways when applicable and required.
- Relocate fixtures, troubleshoot lighting and power panels.
- Service batteries and transformers.
- Read and follow blueprints.
- Understand and maintain AC motor controls, VFDs, and submit electrician reports for all work done.
- Complete all PM and record-keeping tasks assigned to areas of responsibility.
- Make recommendations to supervisors on equipment performance.
- Respond to emergencies at any time.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, demonstrating basic safe work practices based on company and customer policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
- Journeyman's license E1 or E2.
- Five or more years' experience in Commercial, Industrial, and Manufacturing environments.
- Proven knowledge of building codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from plans, schematics, and drawings.
- Prior experience in project estimation of electrical labor, materials, and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or Degree/Certification in Trades (Electrical) or equivalent professional experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
