SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

* Candidate will have appropriate certification in Computer Science or Math

* Teach computer science concepts and skills to students, covering topics such as programming and coding, digital literacy, hardware/software fundamentals, and other relevant subjects.

* Utilize various teaching methods, resources, and technology tools to enhance the learning experience.

* Design assessments to measure student understanding and progress.

* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

* Incorporate technology tools and resources into lessons to enhance learning and prepare students for the digital age.

* Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree

* Possess MA teaching license in Computer Science, 5-8 or Math 5-8, 5-12

* SEI endorsement Required

* Knowledge of current teaching methods; educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles

* Ability to think critically, problem-solve, backwards plan, analyze; use data and prioritize the needs of the student

* Teaching experience with a proven track record of producing dramatic achievement gains is ideal

* Unwavering belief that all students can achieve at high levels and strong commitment to do whatever it takes for all our students to be college-ready

Salary: $54,371 - $97,866
