2026‑2027 Anticipated Opening: Grade 1 Teacher at Memorial Elementary School

• Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards.
• Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards.
• Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
• Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade‑level activities, and school‑wide functions.
• Be accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Possession of MA teaching license, including SEI endorsement.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods, educational pedagogy, and differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
• Ability to think critically, problem‑solve, backwards plan, analyze, use data, and prioritize the needs of the student.
• Teaching experience with a proven track record of producing dramatic achievement gains is ideal.
