Securitas is actively seeking a Per-Diem Security Officer to help maintain safety and security at our client site during overnight hours!

Pay: $21.72/hr

Schedule: PER-DIEM (as needed), primarily 3rd shift (OVERNIGHTS), any day of the week

No prior security experience required!

• Monitor and manage access to client facilities.
• Conduct regular patrols in a retail mall setting for safety and security.
• Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies, including medical and fire incidents.
• Enforce established security protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Conduct inspections and maintain equipment as necessary.
• Assist in risk assessments and proactive security measures.

• Exceptional observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
• Preferred experience in customer service, law enforcement, security, or military roles.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging in difficult conversations.
• Committed to ethical practices and safety protocols, maintaining a respectful approach.
• Basic to moderate computer skills required.
• MUST be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Prior experience in reception or administrative roles is highly preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable communication and transportation methods.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to effectively speak, read, and write in English.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting work.
