Occupancy Clerk

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Occupancy/Leasing Clerk with experience in banking, finance, or occupancy experience in the Winchester, KY area. This position is responsible for reviewing documents, processing occupancy information, and ensuring accuracy in all financial‑related records.

• Review, verify, and process occupancy documents and applications
• Handle confidential financial and customer information
• Assist with reporting, filing, and maintaining organized records
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries in a professional manner
• Support daily office operations and administrative tasks as needed
• Interview applicants and assess eligibility based on income, household composition, and program criteria
• Manage waiting lists, process applications, and maintain accurate resident files
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, LIHTC requirements, and local/state housing laws
• Conduct inspections to verify health, safety, and lease compliance
• Serve as a liaison between property managers, residents, and external agencies

• 2–4 years of related experience
• Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification preferred
• Strong organizational, customer service, and regulatory knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient with computers, email, and basic office software
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
