Position: Rates and Regulatory Manager - HYBRID - Relocation Package

Company Overview

Our client, a well-established electric utility company, seeks an experienced Rates & Regulatory Manager to lead regulatory strategy, rate case development, and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the regulatory and rates departments, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.

Conduct intricate costing analyses to determine the financial implications of various regulatory scenarios.

Liaise with the Service Commission and other regulatory bodies, representing the company's interests and ensuring compliance.

Develop and implement strategies for rate changes, taking into account the company's financial objectives and regulatory requirements.

Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Stay informed about changes in industry regulations and rates, and adjust company strategies as needed.

Prepare and present reports to senior management, providing insights into the performance of the rates and regulatory departments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
Proven experience with costing analyses, ideally within a regulatory environment.
Prior experience working with the Service Commission or similar regulatory body.
Strong leadership abilities and track record of managing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the company's interests to external bodies.
Strong understanding of industry regulations and rates, and ability to apply this knowledge practically.
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Adaptability to changes in regulatory landscape and ability to adjust strategies accordingly.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year.
