Staffmark is hiring a CAD Technician for our client in Winchester, Kentucky, a leading producer of galvanized steel used in infrastructure projects nationwide. Associate degree (two-year program) required

Preferred specialty in civil engineering, architecture, or construction; an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience considered in lieu of a degree

Background in architectural or construction work preferred

Strong technical skills in AutoCAD required, with working knowledge of Inventor a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Excellent math skills and the ability to read and interpret site plans and technical manuals

Able to sit for extended periods using computer workstations and CAD software

Visual acuity for detailed drafting, design review, and quality checks

Ability to safely maneuver through a manufacturing facility or job site during occasional site visits, with reasonable accommodation available

Create detailed drawings and bills of material to support manufacturing and installation of the company's products

Review design information, site plans, and manuals to determine critical design dimensions, then perform calculations to produce fabrication drawings

Use AutoCAD, Inventor, and Excel daily to complete proposal, contract, and fabrication drawings on schedule

Confer with design staff on requirements and modifications, then produce accurate drawings for review and approval

Prioritize projects by due date, maintain CAD standards, and serve as a liaison between engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams

Work independently with minimal supervision while upholding the company's core values
