Job DescriptionThe Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) operates 50 Area Technology Centers (ATCs) serving 115 local feeder districts. The Clark Area Technology Center in Winchester, KY seeks a dedicated Welding Instructor to teach state‑approved welding pathways and prepare students for future careers.

Education: Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate or a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in welding; alternatively, four years of relevant work experience, two within the last five years.

Special Requirements: Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to welding (A+Cert, NCCER, ABC, AGC, ASE). Applicants may be hired without current certifications but must obtain them at the next available testing period.
Additional InformationApplicants may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check. Employers under contract with a local school district must obtain written release from the superintendent.
