Basic Function: To assist the Principal in any way possible in promoting the educational well-being of each student in the school.

• Maintains discipline of student body.
• Supervises building and grounds during school day.
• Assists Principal in supervision of co-curricular activities.
• Contacts parents regarding academic and/or behavioral problems of students.
• Assists the Principal in scheduling of students.
• Assist the principal in administering the athletic program of the school.
• Requisition s teaching supplies and equipment.
• Completes and maintains required inventories and other equipment records.
• Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development by keeping current with the literature, new research findings and approved techniques, and by attending appropriate professional meetings and conventions.
• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

• Demonstrate ability as an instructional leader, as a teacher or administrator.
• Demonstrate ability in the areas of school discipline, instruction, curriculum development and staff development.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, parents, and community.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.

• Holds a valid Kentucky certification for the principalship.
• Has at least three years of successful teaching experience.
