Overview

Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry. We manufacture a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leach field and concrete septic wastewater system components. IWT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Drainage Systems (ticker: WMS, NYSE).

The majority of our products are produced almost entirely from recycled resins. Infiltrator’s recycling operation is among the country’s top twenty producers / consumers of recycled resins and among only a few of whom consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. Infiltrator operates some of largest molding machines and robotics producing the largest plastic molded parts in the world.

IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation; we hold over 200 patents.

Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Lead Team in the day‑to‑day operations of Edge Production including Safety (Five S), Quality of WIP and FG products, production scheduling, inventory control, and material handling
  • Effectively communicate instructions and mentor Team members in the performance of their tasks.
  • Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of equipment operation, quality control requirements, standards and procedures, and recognition of material which should be scrapped or reworked.
  • Coordinate and lead continuous improvement and 5S activities. Strive for a world class manufacturing operation every day.
  • Assemble label packets, print production tags, and other associated tasks with managing product label requirements.
  • Monitor machine efficiency records, analyze, and assist in determining problems when efficiency rate is below standard.
  • Monitor general labor as it relates to Safety, Quality, Efficiency, OT, Temp vs Full Time staffing. This should be done daily / weekly as required.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary production records, machine efficiency records, scrap reports, and other reports as required.
  • Develop key positions within the operation – Router, Reactor Box Assembly, Kit Assembly, Spin Welding, and general sub assembly.
  • Facilitate pre‑shift meetings focused on driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements.
  • Support the Supervisor in maintaining OSHA, ISO
    9001‑15, NSF, and other applicable certifications.
  • Must have the ability to work on varied schedules, OT, and weekends as required to meet business needs.
  • Proactively escalation inventory shortages based on established lead times.

Quality:

  • Confirm all products meet quality standards and perform sign off per work instructions.
  • Partner with Supervisor and Quality Engineering to ensure standard work is accurate and results in world class quality.
  • Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering to escalated incoming quality issues.
  • Complete first piece approvals, quality inspections, and ensure accuracy of all record keeping to maintain UL regulatory standards

General:

  • Works with Supervisor, Engineering, Quality staff, and Executive leadership as required.
  • Assist the Supervisor with Operations KPI management.
  • Support Kit Building Operation as required per Supervisor request.
  • Any other duties assigned by IWT Executive leadership to improve operational performance.

Education and/or Experience
  • HS Diploma, Associate Degree or Higher preferred
  • Capable of working in MRP systems, Oracle/JD Edwards a plus
  • Hands on experience that will benefit a manufacturing operation.
  • Previous Leadership experience and a passion for developing oneself and team members.
