Warehouse Group Lead

Position Summary

Typical working hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

This position is 100% on‑site at Catalent’s Winchester, Kentucky facility.

• Be the primary escalation point for Warehouse Shift Leads and Material Handlers.
• Monitor material readiness daily/weekly to meet the production plan.
• Assist Supervisor with allocation of people resources daily to meet the production plan.
• Lead material movement to ensure production readiness, maintain requirements for dedicated Refer/Box Truck.
• Liaise between production and the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean operational warehouse; perform GEMBA walks, proactively resolve identified issues, and keep management informed.
• Monitor and control warehouse operations under cGMP conditions (cleans, scans, box‑truck compliance).
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in designating authorized personnel for box‑truck operations and ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Resolve operational issues on each shift, communicating with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance as needed.
• Ensure clear communication between shifts through shift handoff meetings.
• Perform other duties as required in support of Catalent Pharma Solutions’ high performance.

• HS Diploma/GED required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to operate areas independently in absence of supervisor and manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in English.
• Exceptional communication skills with subordinates and senior management.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, or reach for extended periods. Vision required for reading written documents, labels, and machine indicators.
