Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and energy sector, is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer with a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering to support and optimize critical systems and infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance, and continuous operation across complex electrical and control environments. The ideal candidate is technically strong, hands‑on, and experienced in troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical and operational systems in a production or utility setting.

Salary: $125,000 - $190,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Design and implement systems operations strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our systems.

Maintain and develop technical records, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Develop and finalize reports on system performance, identifying any areas of concern and proposing solutions.

Work closely with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.

Continuously monitor system performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.

Work in a cooperative financial structure, ensuring that all financial aspects of system operations are effectively managed.

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, helping to develop their skills and knowledge.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering and systems operations, applying this knowledge to your work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems operations or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and operations.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to a range of audiences.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience working in a cooperative financial structure is a plus.
Proficiency in using a range of software and systems relevant to the role.
