Registered Nurse; RN - Advanced Care Unit

Schedule:

3x12 (7p-7a) rotating weekends.

Job Type: Full Time | Nights.

$10,000 Sign On Bonus.

Location:

Centerpoint – Winchester (formerly Clark Regional Medical Center), part of Lifepoint Health.

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school (preferred). Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• KY RN state licensure or comparable compact licensure, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 10 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 45 days of hire.
• Handle With Care certification within 30 days of hire.
