Registered Nurse (RN) – Advanced Care Unit

Job Type: Full Time | Nights. $10,000 Sign On Bonus.

Schedule:

3x12 (7p‑7a) rotating weekends.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate patient and/or family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current state RN license (KY or compact).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school (preferred).
• Associate’s degree in nursing (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 10 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 45 days of hire.
• Handle With Care certification within 30 days of hire.
