At Centerpoint Health, your compassionate team of providers, nurses and technicians have advanced training in wound care management. We work with patients of all ages to accurately diagnose the cause of the wound and develop an effective, tailored treatment strategy focused on achieving positive healing outcomes.

Position Summary:

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
• Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
• Current RN to practice in the state of KY
• 1 year of Wound Care experience, required
• Certifications:
  
  Ostomy, preferred
