Centerpoint Health, Winchester, part of Lifepoint Health, is a 79‑bed acute care hospital in the Winchester community. Our wound care team provides advanced training and care to patients of all ages, focusing on accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment strategies that achieve positive healing outcomes.
Position Summary- Assists with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the organization’s strategic plan.
- Manages staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management, scheduling, development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies purchases, monitors usage, and ensures proper working order and stock availability.
- Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments; may provide patient care when necessary.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Current state RN license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. - Applicable work experience may substitute for education.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of 1 year of wound care experience.
- Certification in ostomy preferred.
