Our Float RNs are adaptable professionals with diverse expertise. They float to almost all areas of the hospital and must adjust quickly to changing needs.

• Perform care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Complete staff responsibilities as needed to meet required service levels.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing, required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in the state of KY.
• At least 2 years of critical care experience.
• Certifications:
  
  BCLS; ACLS & PALS (per unit specific requirements).
