- Winchester (formerly Clark Regional Medical Center) is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide exceptional care to patients across multiple units.

Float RNs are adaptable professionals with diverse expertise. They float to almost all areas of the hospital and must be able to adjust to what's needed quickly.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Perform other staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

Applicants must have a current state RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing school.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license to practice in the state of KY.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
• Certifications:
  
  BCLS; ACLS & PALS as required by unit.
