Physical position – lifting, carrying, reaching, squatting, bending, sitting, standing, and driving (as needed). Reliable transportation; working cell phone; forklift operation; good attendance critical; works evenings and holidays.
Ale‑8‑One Bottling Company seeks a full‑time Warehouse/Production Floater to work in both production and warehouse, including the repack area and food safety GMP activities. This entry‑level role requires excellent attendance, teamwork, and basic math and counting skills.
Essential Functions of the Position- Build full pallets of product by hand to pallet tag specifications daily.
- Read pallet tag and truck load specifications to build pallets and load trucks and trailers accurately.
- Operate production line equipment.
- Perform all clean‑up activities, including sweeping, mopping, and trash cleanup.
- Use safe lifting and carrying techniques and participate in safe lifting training.
- Consistently perform highly physical activities: reaching, lifting, carrying, and handling heavy loads.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Working cell phone to receive company text messages.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and machinery/equipment.
- Follow and perform all GMPs for food safety.
- Exposure to warm and cold weather conditions.
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Basic math and counting skills for loading accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Remain calm and project a calm presence during tension and crisis.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Good organizational skills.
- Follow PPE guidelines.
