Responsibilities- Interpreting a variety of psychological diagnostic tests with comprehensive diagnostic skills.
- Utilizing specific approaches and tools to help students, teachers, and families address factors that interfere with learning; collaborating to address student needs; writing IEP goals/benchmarks, progress reports, and participating in IEP meetings.
- Valuing students from diverse backgrounds; maintaining an open mind, sense of humor, and calm demeanor in stressful situations.
- Conducting student assessments, including administering psychological evaluations of cognitive skills, attention, memory, social‑emotional functioning, and student observation; writing reports summarizing psychological, academic, and testing results for initial and 3‑year evaluations.
- Participating in special education team meetings, school mental health and counseling teams; consulting with school administration, related service providers, general educators, and special educators.
- Leading counseling groups (social skills, friendship, etc.).
- Attendance at department meetings; contributing as a member of the school community; actively engaging in professional development.
Compensation Range: $63,787–$136,191
