Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Winchester, MA. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, while also supervising an interdisciplinary team of nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Work closely with our Medical Director to deliver care in accordance with Facility protocol and safe nursing practices
- Supervise an interdisciplinary team of nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers to provide quality healthcare to our residents
- Deliver care that meets the highest standards of quality and compassion
- Current unencumbered State of Massachusetts LPN or RN license
- Knowledge of State and Federal long-term care guidelines preferred
- Strong communication skills to communicate with Residents, Families, and Staff
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact
