Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Massachusetts RN license, and at least 1 year of recent operating room experience.

Basic Life Support certification is required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification may be preferred. Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended. Recommended skills include strong circulating and scrubbing abilities, attention to sterile technique, and effective communication with surgical teams. The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff is valuable.
