Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our experienced nursing team. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while supporting nursing staff, promoting teamwork, and maintaining a positive and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies, established care plans, and safe nursing practices.

  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and nursing support staff on assigned units.

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

  • Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

  • Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders.

  • Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.

  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication among staff.

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while protecting resident dignity, safety, and rights.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive resident outcomes.

  • Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license required.

  • Graduate of an approved LPN program.

  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and with tact.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality resident care.
