Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Recent experience using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Ability and willingness to float between assigned units as needed
- Availability for the designated December 7 start date
- Time-off requests should be limited to no more than three days; holiday time off is not available for this assignment
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, clinical status, and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Complete patient assessments, care planning, clinical documentation, and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Prioritize patient care effectively while floating to support unit staffing needs
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate care throughout each shift
